Why is Sherlock the drooling, brain damaged one?

The Sherlock fandom is by far the smartest.
Unless…unless they meant that we’d all gone mad from having to wait a year for Season three.
Oh yeah. I am totally new. Ed isn’t stupid at all! He’s brilliant! He’s just mad as a hatter. You don’t necessarily have to choose between the two. He points out things the other’s don’t notice, after all. Brilliant, but insane. I think it suits the Sherlock fandom well. The Sherlock fandom is the crack fandom after all. :)
